Welcome Message from Our Festival Chairman

Welcome!!

In the Greek spirit of hospitality it is truly our pleasure to welcome you to our 41st Annual Buffalo GreekFest, at our Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Each year our community proudly comes together to prepare an authentically Greek cultural experience for you to enjoy right here, on the corner of Delaware and West Utica., in our beloved Buffalo, NY.

We encourage you to delight in the many inspiring sights, beautiful sounds and flavors and in all the entertainment that we have to offer! All around our grounds you will find much to see and do. Immerse yourself further in our culture by visiting our cultural display, our church tours or one of our scheduled lectures and presentations.
Stop in our Agora Marketplace to browse for unique jewelry, alluring art, Greek food products and gifts. Visit our Greek Market and Vineyard where you can purchase imported flavorful food products and great tasting Greek wine to prepare the most unforgettable meal for your family and guests at the comfort of your home.

As every year, we are excited to share with you the rich tastes of our Greek cuisine and are proud to offer a variety of authentic food options. Indulge in our savory Greek Lamb Chops, mouthwatering Souvlaki on a Stick, ambrosial flaming-cheese Saganaki, our famous Open Chicken Souvlaki, as well as all of your other Greek favorites! If you’re looking for something new to taste this year, try our Traditional Greek Gyros, cooked the old-fashioned way on a vertical broiler. For something sweet, try our delicious home-made Loukoumades (honey puffs) or relax in our Kafenion (café) sipping Greek coffee and enjoying one of our many Greek desserts you can find at our pastry shop!

One of the most spirited elements of Greek culture is our love of music and dance. To a Greek, there’s nothing like the sound of the Bouzouki! We feature authentic Greek musicians who play the enchanting songs and melodies that you will hear throughout your visit. We also feature our very own Annunciation Greek dancers and encourage you to take part in the dancing and celebrations!

Our festival is about memorable experiences and enjoyment and so in the Greek spirit we encourage you to eat, drink, dance and most importantly HAVE FUN!

Lastly, it takes a great amount of effort to make our festival possible each year and so I deeply want to thank all our volunteers for their dedication and time in making this a wonderful and memorable annual event. To all our guests, our sponsors, and long-time supporters in the Buffalo community, thank you for your continued support!

With warmest regards,

Milton Koutsandreas
