Welcome Message from Our Festival Chairman

It is with joy and excitement we welcome you to our Annual Greek Festival, at our beautiful Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

As our community gathers to proudly prepare a cultural experience for you to enjoy, our Greek Festival marks as the kick off of festival season in our beloved Buffalo, N.Y. We wish much success and best wishes to all events that will follow in our city!

When visiting our Festival we encourage you to delight in the many inspiring sights, beautiful sounds and flavors and in all the entertainment that we have to offer.

Immerse yourself further in our culture by visiting our Cultural display, our Church tours, our Greek market, our Bakery and then relax in our Kafenion (cafe) sipping Greek coffee and enjoying a Greek dessert.

As every year, we are excited to share with you and offer a variety of authentic food options. Indulge in our tasty and healthy Chicken or Beef Souvlaki, Spanakopita, savory Gyros and mouthwatering Souvlaki on a stick, our ambrosial flaming-cheese Saganaki, as well as all of your other Greek favorites but make sure to leave room for our delicious home-made Loukoumades (honey puffs).

One of the most spirited elements of Greek culture is our love of music and dance. To a Greek, there’s nothing like the sound of the Bouzouki!

We feature authentic Greek musicians who play the enchanting songs and melodies that you will hear throughout your visit. We also proudly feature our very own Annunciation Greek Dancers who work hard all year to prepare and perform for you, and encourage you to take part in the dancing and celebrations!

Our festival is about memorable experiences and enjoyment and so in the Greek spirit we encourage you to eat, drink, dance and most importantly HAVE FUN!
Lastly, it takes a great amount of effort to make our festival possible each year and so I deeply want to thank all our volunteers for their dedication and time in making this a wonderful and memorable annual event!
